postheadericon Make New Fashion With Bratz Games

The Bratz fashion world is not only about dressing up and doing makeover that will pass the present trend in fashion. More than that, the Bratz fashion world is also a haven for aspiring artists who want to explore new things and apply their creative imagination through dress design. While the basic fashion designing is based on some science that you need to consider before trying to make a dress masterpiece, the thinking or the fashion idea is unique to the person. Share your creative ideas and make new fashion with Bratz games. This is your first step to become a real fashion designer.

When it comes to design, you should know the basics about patterns, prints and plains. This will help you decide if you are doing right or you are bit overloaded with prints. It is important that you know this so you can play with colors, cuts and patterns easily. Another point is to find the perfect model to show off you designs to the fashion world. Finding the one qualified? Why not have the most fashionable and fabulous celebrities? The Bratz will work perfectly for you!

With the Bratz games, you can be the virtual fashion designer and apply all you know about fashion designing. Get the right patterns, find the stylish cut and design the dress to perfectly fit ones body structure. Jade, Yasmin, Cloe and Sasha will be excited to wear on your fashionable designs.

Start off the task by learning which color complements the other. Work out first with the tops. Most often the most simple cut and design becomes the most fashionable outfit. You do not need to overload with designs. Try a silk blouse with a bow. Pair it up with high-waisted pants. While keeping the outfit simple, like a contrast of white and black, you can have the outfit accentuated with wooden cuff detailed with gold plates. A classic pair of pumps in the color of gold will suit the ensemble for a more glamorous look. Keep the whole outfit simple, it will define itself from others.

Another good fashion example you can do with Bratz games is to do fashionable dresses. A silk dress with silk grosgrain ribbon detail can perfectly match your days outfit. This versatile piece of clothing can take you from office to a party. Match it with a patented belt and a pair of stiletto sandals.

There are still other ways you can play with outfits and match clothing. When designing with Bratz games or even in the real world of fashion, take into consider both the functionality and the design of the outfit. These two should perfectly work well so you can be a good fashion designer.

postheadericon London Fashion Week – Spring/Summer 2011

I know most of us are just planning our outfits for Winter 2010 but a little thing called London Fashion week has just passed us by and its all about fashion trends for Spring/ Summer 2011. What I love about the London Fashion week, compared to our ever so chic European fashionistas, is the colour and expression. There are no boundaries and the designers have a flair of anything goes!

London Fashion versus Paris and Rome is a hot topic in my house. I am British, through and through, but my husband is half Italian, half German. Indeed he keeps telling me about Munich Fashion week. Munich fashion week? “Does that even exist”, I ask?

Partly, because I don’t know and partly because he gets so hilariously aggravated by it. I think the great thing about British fashion is that we seem to have the guts and imagination to try new things. I am sure the Italian tailoring is much better than ours but we push the boundaries, innovate and make fashion what it should be, fun!!!!!! Consider outfits by Vivienne Westwood. They are not chic and sophisticated by any stretch of the imagination but they are flirty, frivolous and fresh.

Just looking at the new summer catwalk fashion makes me feel ever so bright, but then I remember we have at least 5 months of winter to get through before we can even think of wearing these gorgeous summer outfits. Anyway let’s have a look at whats hot and whats not.

Dublin born Paul Costello kicked off London fashion week in style. I have always adored his clothes and this year I love the women’s fashion even more. He works with a lot of metallic silvers in his collection for Spring / Summer 2011. The Maxi dress is still very current but we see an almost 1950s rock and roll edge in some of the shorter dresses. I have already made a mental note to do some leg work during the winter so I will have perfect pins come April.

Stepping back a little further in time, Fillippo Scuffi from Daks London is continuing the current women’s fashion trend of 1940s glam! He showcased dresses, playsuits and skirts with a dropped waist in mainly muted colours or pastels but teamed with a vibrant yellow to add depth.

If you’re a person like me who likes to follow the latest women’s trends but also likes to own something completely different, take the time to have a look at Fashion fringe on the London Fashion Week webpage. These outfits are fabulous and ever so British. The catwalk collection started with a similar feel to the designers we had already seen. Slightly deeper pastel colours and perhaps a little more floaty in texture. The production of their catwalk show was well orchestrated building to a fashion crescendo!!! The masterpieces. The finale of their show could have been the finale of circus clowns, but fashion savvy circus clowns. Oversized collars, oversized trousers and a fabulous mixture of colour and materials. If you only check out one new designer this year, make this the one.

postheadericon New York Fashion Week – Tempest In The Big Apple

For the many people involved in fashion, you may be wondering exactly what is New York fashion week? As it is, New York fashion week is a week long occasion that began on June 7th in the year 1993 and is supported currently by Olympus. Fashion week is frequently known as Olympus fashion week due to the fact that its current sponsor is Olympus; however in recent years past its was also known as Mercedes Benz fashion week because they were the sponsors at that time.

The venue for this occasion takes place in Bryant Part in New York City (located at the corner of forty-second and sixth streets). The which is eight acres in size is changed into an immense arena of fashion garnered in large tents.

Each separate gigantic tent has air conditioning and is separated into several areas. Each individual venue is separated into roughly twelve thousand square feet and has an integrated runway, accompanying guest seating, lighting sound, as well as area for back stage activities.

The venues are used by the designers to present their ongoing designs and work; they arrange and furnish the area in accordance with their own personal taste. The tent walls are outfitted with small booths, where products designated for promotion are being given away or sold. New York fashion week happens two times a year.

Designs for the forthcoming fall season are featured at the fashion week show which occurs the preceding February. Designs for the approaching spring are featured in the September fashion show.

So Your Thinking About Going to Fashion Week?

The typical attendees at fashion week are celebrities, journalists, fashion purchasers, and social types. Because this event is by invitation only, journalists who wish to go must seek accreditation prior to the event. You will very likely see just a few celebrities at each show.

It is clear, you will very likely notice fashion models in addition to numerous well known designers. If you happen to work your way into an invitation to the event, curiously there is not formal type of dress code to follow. The majority of individuals adopt the “anything goes” rule.

Although comfort does play a part, the primary goal of dressing up for fashion week is to establish a unique wardrobe that will give expression to your own individual sense of fashion. If your an individual who has a passion for design fashions, then a trip to fashion week is the event for you.

In addition to receiving the opportunity to witness all the up to date designs prior to then showing up in stores, you will have an incredible amount of fun as well. So even though it might appear to be next to impossible to receive an invitation to fashion week, never say never – if nothing else, at a minimum you can read about the exciting events at the show in the latest fashion trend magazine.
